How to get better results

/ before you click convert

Start with the right source

Clean scans, sharp images and text-based PDFs give browser tools more useful information to work with. A converter cannot recreate detail or document structure that is absent from the source.

Know the destination requirement

Choose format, dimensions and file size based on where the output is going. A government upload portal, a website image and a print document have very different needs.

Inspect important output

Automated conversion is convenient, not infallible. Check names, figures, small text, page order, signatures and formatting before sending an important document.

How My Tools HQ adds value beyond the button

/ transparency over promises

Know what each tool does

Every tool page now explains the actual browser-side method used by that specific utility, including what the code can and cannot preserve.

Verification before reliance

Each tool includes a short output checklist and a clear “use another method when…” boundary so important files are not treated like casual conversions.

Work through a real task

Guides show concrete inputs, tradeoffs and checks for PDF workflows, image formats, text, developer tasks and calculations.

What My Tools HQ is designed for

My Tools HQ is a browser-based utility site for common document, image, writing, developer and everyday calculation tasks. The tools are deliberately scoped: each page explains the useful use case, the technical limitations and a few checks that help prevent bad output.

Core file and text transformations are designed to happen on your device in the browser where the implementation allows it. That does not mean the website makes no network requests: normal page assets, fonts, open-source libraries or machine-learning models can be loaded from our site or third-party content delivery networks. Our Privacy Policy describes that distinction instead of making a blanket “nothing leaves your device” claim.

We also publish independent guides covering file formats, compression, PDF workflows, image resolution, hashing, Base64, JSON and calculator concepts. The aim is to make the utility useful even when the correct answer is “use another method for this particular document.”
